paradox on the rocks



There is no dominant culture. There are nation-states with involved, controlling narratives. The U.S is not a culture. Modern England and France are inventions of those state's narratives. Anyone then, and no one, can "join" this modern culture. These nation-states have programs and agendas of dominance,  however, variable according to their intra-mural hierarchies.
